REALLY STARTING
When an artist starts a one-year action in a gallery, this should be arranged by an agreement. Really Starting - as an anagram of galerie Transit - guaranties that the artist will clean the gallery space with a vacuum cleaner, right before each new exhibition starts. The agreement is proclaimed in 9 languages and has been captured on a CD that has been edited on 45 copies. The artist and the gallerists signed each copy. The original version of the agreement was drawn up in Dutch, which is the mother tongue of the artist and the gallerists. The Dutch version has been translated to German, French, Spanish, American, Arabic, Polish, Chinese and Russian by Google Translate. An Apple computer delivered the specific voices for the translated proclamations of the agreement. Each proclamation was recorded with a dictaphone and has been put on the CD. 45 copies + 5 AP's / 2017 - 2018.
