INTERFACE

A solid bronze bar was mounted through my former studio wall. The exterior part of the bar got oxidized. The interior part stayed shiny. The bar acted as an interface, for example by conducting the interior temperature to the outdoor street side and vice versa / 2011 - 2013. First action: polished bronze bar / l = 680 mm / d = 12 mm / Deurne / 2011. Second action: the part of the bronze bar on the inside was cut in January, to mount it into the wall of the new studio in Merksem / 2012.
