IK STUUR U MIJN KAT!

 

Together with artist Messieurs Delmotte, Kris Van Dessel designed a coaster at the request of Café De Kat in Antwerp. The front of the coaster features the title “PHISHING LINK” with a QR code. Scanning this code takes you to a YouTube video: a clip from the Flemish youth series “De Kat.” To everyone’s surprise, only Kris Van Dessel’s name was printed as the creator on the back of the coaster. So both artists designed a stamp to imprint the name “Messieurs Nick Delmotte” on every coaster in the café. Messieurs Delmotte resembles Nick Cave when he takes off his glasses and presses his middle finger against his nose. Both artists regularly go fishing in the Antwerp docks. / 2026 - ongoing.
